For many years I had planned on adding a sunroom to our beachside home – a place where I could sit peacefully reading a good book or entertain a few guests over a bottle of fine red wine. I’ve always been a wine enthusiast – a tradition that was passed down from my father. The wine cellar in my basement is stocked with bottles of various vintages, but until adding the sunroom I never had a spot to truly enjoy the spirits.

My wife handled the design side of things, suggesting a number of sunroom furnishings that would complement the new space. Not surprisingly, we chose to stick with a wine and grape theme. We found bottle holders, a clock and a few other items that featured the same motif. Lately all of our dinner parties have been a rousing success, and the newly designed sunroom is usually the main topic of conversation.
