My wife and I have been married so long that we can practically read each other’s thoughts. Although it’s nice to be so comfortable around another person, the predictability can get a little old. That’s why it’s nice to vary things up a bit on occasion. Once in a while, I like to deliver an unexpected gift to her at work. Other times I wait until we’re alone at home in a more intimate setting.

In any case, the element of surprise is just as important as the quality of the gift itself. Knowing that my wife likes to unwind after a long day by taking a lengthy, luxurious bath, I recently surprised her with a few bath and body gift sets. Personally, I’ll never fully understand the appeal of these fragrant balms and lotions, but I do know that women love them.
